Ah, yes, wouldn't it be nice to pay the same commissions regardless of where the stock trades? In the case of Fidelity, my last order for a Canadian stock, bought under the US XXXXF symbol, cost me $29.95US, or roughly 2 cents a share. Now if I were short term trading, that might be too large a commission, but since I'm holding most of my gold stocks for weeks, months, or years, the 2 cents seems reasonable enough, or reasonable enough not to force me to PennTrade. <g>
