I wanted to point out a possible relationship that might exist that could explain all or part of the most recent return of U.S.-Israel tensions this time over China.

The United States and the United Kingdom are most probably clandestinely backing the Hizbut Tahir.

The HT is supposedly aligned with the Uighurs of Northwest China and have pushed on to China's border.

The HT maintains a powerful anti-Jewish/anti-Israel crusade.

This is not the first time that Israel has been blamed for selling technology to China. In early 1992, Israel was accused of the unauthorized transfer of American technology to China;

However, at present with the U.S. backing the Jewish hating HT with the ultimate goal to push into the Xinjiang province of China and the discord that has sprung up between the U.S. and Israel who is once again using the time-tested military means to regain the trust and confidence of China – I don’t know - there are just some interesting relationships that might be contributing to the entire affair.

Why wouldn't Straw comment on the "opposition" - the Hizbut Tahrir (HT) - in the Andijan incidents? Tashkent has alleged that HT activists in the city communicated with "mentors" in Afghanistan and Kyrgyzstan. Moreover, it is well-known that the HT's "headquarters" are in the United Kingdom. HT spokesmen appear routinely in the coffee shops of plush London hotels to give media interviews.

The HT keeps up a virulent campaign not only against the Uzbek government and the US, but also against the Jewish community and Israel. It often refers to Karimov as a Jewish stooge. During World War II, more than 200,000 Jews escaped extermination in West Europe by fleeing to Central Asia. Anti-Semitism was not prevalent in the Central Asian republics of the erstwhile USSR to the same extent as it was in the Slav republics of the USSR.
