Shares of medical and bioscience analytics company Healthnostics Inc. (PINK: HNSS) soared more than 100% in today’s trading on takeover talks. At last check, Healthnostics shares were trading 105.56% higher at $0.0037, with volume up from daily average of 6.01 million to 88.23 million.
Healthnostics said that a publicly traded corporation has shown interest in acquiring the company for $0.01 per share. The negotiations are expected to be completed in the next 30 days as discussions are currently in the final stages.
Last week, the company announced it is in discussions with a Fortune 500 company regarding rights and royalties to manufacture and distribute a Healthnostic-patented liquid fill product. The company said it anticipates market viability of the product and the significant cost-free revenue stream it can produce.
Healthnostics said this new product will appeal to a diverse and widespread market, which is why the company made the decision to partner with a major international manufacturer to produce and distribute it to drive a more rapid entrance into a broad-based market and potentially generate near and long term revenue streams.
