Statistically it is found that nonconformists in their strong desire to not follow the status quo tend to flock together and conform to much tighter and rigid standards than mainstream society. In trying to not be popular they create a society and style that is far enough outside the spectrum of what mainstream society follows but they require their members to adhere fully to those standards. Otherwise they are considered "posers" or "wanna-bes". Funny how all people want to conform to something. Humanity is a strange thing.
