Hi PianoMan & thanks for your order and wonderful support of SMKY on the board. Most Internet companies are jacking up their product prices to cover the increase in FedEx & UPS shipping costs so that added shipping charge can be seen as relatively low to even free, but again, their retail price is outrageous. The fuel surcharge by the shippers is high, packaging has gotten more expensive as has dry ice and the fulfillment process in general is very costly; at a flat $14.50 for all order sizes, we're just hoping to come out somewhat even on the shipping cost. But, the customer gets a really good and honest pricing deal on the food.
