I agree with you that because certain "religious", often heavily armed, zealots believe they have a divine right to move into Palestinian neighborhoods many problems have been created, much blood has been shed, and many have died. That is part of the problem. Just as many grossly intolerant Arabs do not support Israel's right to exist, Jewish zealots do not support a peace that would be fair and just to both sides. They do not support Arab existance in Israel.
On that point I agree, but I think you overstate the scope of Israel's fanatic movement. At least I hope you do... And it would be foolish to underestimate the scope of the fanatic movement in the Arab world. It is very hard to resolve conflict with fanatics and, I guess, the mainstream pays the price.
Also, consider what happened to those decent US citizens involved in humanitarian, healthcare efforts in Yemen. Now who will replace them providing vital services to the needy. Would you?
