Could work out that way it just depends on if they are cashed out or continue to trade. Could even windup rolled into a new preferred share it just depends. I would think they will roll into anew preferred share and continue to trade as for the time being, it would be the most economical way. Then they would get a return of what the market is willing to pay.
I think the same will happen with the commons after the criminals are done away with. clearly that is what the EC is working towards.
