Ok, By looking at the graph, and taking the closest comparison, it looks like vdsl can support 6 mbps over 9000 ft. symetrical. NVEI tech looks to me at 8 MBPS over 6500ft. Not to be cynical at all, but this to me does not seem to be a vast improvement. I would gather that 8 mb is a great number but i think that distance would be a greater factor as to reach more customers. Would anyone agree with what i'm thinking? Also is the 10-9 bit error rate good enough. I cannot answer that type of question as i am not a tech pro on this. Could anyone explain? TIA. Mike.
