sburlia: I don't know why, but I still have trouble understanding how someone can - with a straight face - consider calling up the people who have repeatedly and consistently lied in all of their statements (and who refuse to file financials) as "real DD".

I saw the ENRON documentary the other night on cnbc, i think, and it's amazing that, unlike exph -- where most of the people who once believed in JD now consider him a crook, pure and simple -- at ENRON the vast majority of employees (practically all) as well as the vast majority of "analysts" (real good analysts, sheesh) believed FASTOW et al. right up until the actual meltdown of the company. They showed a scene at one of the "love-fests" where one employee stood up and criticized the notion of "putting all one's eggs in one basket" regarding the 401(k) allocations, and the auditorium EXPLODED with hissing, boos, "what an idiot! We're gonna be RICH RICH RICH!" and the like.
