If I remember SEC regulations correctly, to short a stock under $2.00, you have to put up a $2.50 deposit, per share.

So, to short, say, 1 million HPNN shares, you would have to provide a cash deposit of $2.5M, on the hope of making ... $200 ?

Plus the cost of the shares themselves, I almost forgot. But those aren't worth much.
