one thing many people do not realize about the politics of nuclear reactors is that it makes an excellent place to put military hardware. If The U.S. bombs an Iranian reactor it is going to give Iran the justification to hit back hard in the world wide court of public opinion.

Do you know what kind of fire power the Iranians have in terms of planes and surface to air missiles? Its gotta be a lot better than the missiles that Syria just made a deal for IMHO. If they have a significant number of Russsian MIGS AND the Russians block our GPS abilities AND use short range EMP to knock out all our transister circuts ( YES, EMP does do that! ) in our F-15's etc. Shooting every last U.S. plane out of the sky might be as easy as shooting fish in a bath tub with a shot gun. MIG's run on old fashioned tube technology and are only minimally effected by an EMP blast from a nuke that goes off in outer space. I would imagine that the short range EMP devices give an even better advantage that a nuke in outer space. A lot depends on how much Moscow is willing to step up to the plate and take the U.S head on. Jamming our GPS systems in Iraq was one thing. Helping the Iranians massacre a fleet of jets is another thing all together. A WHOooLE LOTTA sabah rattlin goin aWWwn! I hope it stays that way.
