anyone doing a search on my alias just said 'what the hexx is he/she talking about'....lol!
this is a stock BT...the company's product is media and platform purchase. The company because of it's product (g/l/b/t) has an appeal because it's grass roots in nature....there is no 24/7 g/l/b/t network out there beyond QTN on RCN....that's good enough for me to put some serious $$$'s into this stock and I have....
now you need to do what you need to do...but like I've said many times before when folks like you came to RB and posted about me like you do I just ignored them and bought. I am very keen on business opportunities. I am a sponge to them. I was very lucky to work 37 years in a company, nationally and internationally known, that was founded by a visionary, who is considered a world leader in business. When you live day to day in that type of environment you learn a lot and put a degree in accounting into that package and you are really well rounded in business knowledge, add to that mix the ability to meet folks up and down the corporate ladder of this company and be involved in almost every phase of the company gives you an even broader understanding...
BigTips...yes I am retired, and yes from QBID. That exercise resulted from my paying attention to my interests and expanded these interests at every opportunity I had, as described above...and last year that opportunity paid off for me in a way that just continues to make me smile and at 0077 it will pay off equally well again if the stock price goes to that level, although I don't intend to exit at that level.
now where's my talk about the g/l community...? in another opportunity I see in this stock. During the 60's I read and breathed every aspect of the Martin Luther King movement. In fact when MLK came to Boston I participated in the Boston march for civil rights. Civil rights is a major interest of mine as well. Again I am a sponge when it comes to any data surrounding that subject. Here I am again reading all the g/l/b/t websites to see how the different groups are organizing themselves to stand up to the blatent attempt to squash them and their efforts....
how does that pertain to QBID? In many ways for sure....the #1 way is the political figures and high level g/l/b/t activitists today are QTN's product. They appear either on their show personally, via satellite or via phone....I assess QTN's ability to get the 'high level catches'....and so far it's looking good. The 2nd of course major way this pertains to QTN is by watching how the 'anti gay groups' are responding to any effort to advance the g/l/b/t via sponsor boycotts, etc...
so again BT, I have an interest, civil rights in nature that is a main ingredient in a stock I own.....and I have a parrallel experience to compare/contrast today's movement with....
exciting? you bet. Am I cheering this company on? You bet....but guess what BT. I can. Frank Olsen is in all the right places right now, doing all the right things....
Rubenstein/Rasenberger/Firestone connections are powerful and equally powerful is QTN's ability to land the 'big g/l/b/t fish for their product material'.....
it's called do your dd...and make your own decisions....and like I said for me I have a ton of experience in this type of venture to be able to cross reference and determine if I think QTN is still moving in the right direction....
