No, you and gfp are simply missing the point. Your arguments aren't logical. Yes, Cortex has other compounds; yes, if Servier succeeds, those compounds will be seen as more valuable. But this is irrespective of the fact that Cortex sold us down the river for $3 million now instead of holding on to this potentially blockbuster revenue stream. We could have held onto these royalty rights AND also had the potentially more valuable drugs. A bird in the hand isn't worth a hundred in the bush.
