That is fine, within a Palestinian State, the Palestinian can impose whatever right of return they want. They cannot have a right of return into another sovereign state. That is exactly what happened in Germany and in the Pakistan/India border with many more displaced persons. 2 Million Sikhs were forced out of their lands (fertile lands too), are you suggesting they be given the same right of return? The date is actually two years later than the Palestinian refugee (1949).

You got to be careful in what is proposed, if such a "right of return" becomes international law, you create an excuse for destabilization of Europe (German/polish, French, and Russian), Turkey (greek expulsion, Armenian massacre and expulsion) and as if Pakistan and India did not have enough with their Kashmir conflict, you bring up the whole Punjab problem back to the fore and ripe for destabilization. In the last century 100 MM plus refugees were created (I was one of them) due to human wisdom. Somehow, 90% plus of these refugees problems were solved. The number of Arab refugees created by the 1947 conflict equal the number of Jewish refugees from Arab countries created during the same period. Israel did the fair thing and absorbed its refugees from the Arab countries, it is a simple population exchange that has happened in many places in the world in the last 100 years, it has to be solved not perpetrated for political reasons.
