If you cannot see both the difference in meaning and the importance of the distinction between the two words, your mind is hopelessly muddled.

That certainly explains your mindlessly antagonistic attacks on Bush and his policies. Some disagreement is natural and policies are always open to debate - I don't agree with all he has done either. But your attitude of blaming him for everything is childish and intellectually indefensible.
