Yes, I can see how that post about the 100K puts can be misinterpreted, I read it then (and now) as stating that you invested $100 K in puts, but it can be read that the public did buy 100 K additional puts. I surely was not bearish on 10/10, I had my horns on quite steadfastly then. I did reduce exposure after the run and since I am not in Tuesday morning missed a little of the continuation, but run back into the bullish fold 12 naz points above my bad mini retreat call, why do you fault that, I don't understand, particularly on a short term trading thread. The EOD 45% cash on 10/11 is far from very bearish, just a tactic to take profits on the 120 or so Naz points offered. There was barely any lost opportunity, since I got back in heavy on the 16th just 12 Naz points above, better safe than sorry. We surely did not have a vehement exchange on that matter, not one reflected in the posts you cite (by the way, you may want to use the #msg-xxxx instead of the URL, some of those URL may have been miscopied, they lead to error). I was trying to understand your "vehemence" and that led me to read your 100 K post as your personal exposure to the dark side at exactly the wrong corner, and the following vehemence as "sour grapes". Sorry about that.
