Apparently it escaped you that the reverse is also a dichotomy of thought and one that saddens and angers a lot of us. I feel that there are times when war is justified and would think that most folks would agree in at least some instances, like WWII. I am against abortion on biblical grounds and find no such problem with a war that is justified. The biblical commandment is properly translated "you shall not murder", not "you shall not kill", and the distinction is a crucial one.
