Wheeler has said on numerous calls the most important thing in a partner is "strategic alignment". on this call he spelled it out more clearly - that MNTA's goal of reducing approval times through improved analytics conflicts with the branded segment of large pharma/bios portfolios. this more than anything else imo seems to have been a stumbling block in securing an FOB partnership to date. it doesn't seem like an insurmountable obstacle imo since MNTA's analytics are proprietary and it won't necessarily lower the bar for other entrants to utilize a more streamlined approach to FOB approvals. but mnta has to convice a partner of that (and the fact they still are the sole approved lovenox generic helps to that end since it shows others dont seem to ahve what it takes in terms of analytics)
