I know a way to find a category for myself, let's just say Arnold Toynbee the case that he stated in his 10-volume Study of History what i already believed in my summing up/ bottomlining of history.
The importance to me of Toynbee is he in 10-volumes and in a tour de force of mindboggling scholarship argued brilliantly the case of we of the dark-glasses.
But i found on checking it out, the "acclaimed" abridged version done by D.C.Somerwell must be avoided, it censors blatantly several of Toynbee's most alarming points and conclusions.
Toynbee politically was of the left and has been painted with the smear brush of right-wing jews of today as an anti-semite for G-d forbid he was oppositional to Zionism.
