"I wonder where they [BioMed Reports] get their sources from?"

Me too. The apparent use of insider information by BMR - which has clearly revealed itself as an entirely unobjective stock promotion outfit, and whose credibility is somewhat less than zero - seems to resonate very strongly with the type of activity described by SEC when they suspended 17 stocks on Tuesday:

“The investing public does not have accurate or adequate information about these securities to use in making informed investment decisions. Nonetheless, stock-touting websites, twitter users, and often anonymous individuals posting to Internet message boards have hyped many of these companies, and these promotional campaigns have been followed by spikes in share price and trading volume.”

I wouldn't be at all surprised to see RPC listed in the next tranche of penny stock scams that get suspended by SEC.
