A note on suicide bombers:

Today's ignorant dumbed down Americans might be surprised to learn that suicide attacks by allied forces were greatly praised in Hollywood war propaganda films of the 1940s.

Several films glorified the action of pilots who -- after being disabled by enemy fire -- proceeded to crash their planes into enemy targets. The film NORTH STAR -- dealing with Russian resistance to Nazi invaders -- comes to mind. And there were a number of others.

So one man's fanatic suicide bomber is another man's hero.
