Patrick Cox reports on Star Scientific in newsletter today:

Attended meeting at Roskamp Institute a few days ago.

Two important endocrinologists were there from Johns Hopkins, Ladenson, and Caturegli.

Caturegli's data show anatabine demonstrating prevention and reversal of disease in mice.
Ladenson substantiates.
500-person thyroiditis study initated at U. Pisa, Italy.

Dr. Michael Mullen, Roskamp, would recommend anatabine to someone with Alzheimer's.

Cox's conclusion: anatabine will delay or reverse Alzheimer's.
But anatabine will not be best drug on market. See Anavex sigma receptor drug.
Or Nilvadipine, developed by Roskamp.

Combination of anatabine, the Anavex drug, and Nilvadipine may be best treatment.

We are witnessing the beginning of a major victory against the brain-eating life-destroying zombie plague that is, in reality, Alzheimer's disease. The existence of other, perhaps superior, AD drugs does not undercut the value of Star Scientific at all. The anti-inflammaging effects of anatabine are, as I've explained on numerous occasions, bigger even than a complete AD cure.

Anatabine is the closest thing to the mythical panacea, from the Greek goddess of the cure, Panakeia. I am convinced that it ameliorates aging-related auto[innate]immune disorder, the cause of accelerated telomere loss and numerous unpleasant conditions.

I've laughed with some of the scientists investigating the solanaceous alkaloid [anatabine] about the fact that so many are embarrassed to tell compelling anatabine stories about patients, friends and families. It's funny because everybody understands the scientific taboo surrounding nonclinical evidence. When anecdotal evidence comes from surgeons who have seen inside the bodies of their patients and watched scans and biopsies demonstrate completely unexpected remissions of serious diseases, however, you have to treat it differently.

I suspect that a lot of short sellers are up to their eyebrows in Star Scientific shorts. With the new information being generated about anatabine, the shorters are looking at a potentially ruinous short squeeze.

I am reluctant to post the entirety of Cox's letter as I agreed not to do that when I subscribed. So, I hope this is at least of interest. I highly recommend his "Breakthrough Technology Alert" to investors in biotech, especially in regenerative medicine. Patrick Cox does his homework. He may get it wrong sometimes, but his research is worthwhile.
