I feel the same way, being bearish is no fun and even seems to be more difficult at times to preserve/make money.

About getting bullish; what are a couple indications you will be looking for in order to begin a bullish stance (aside from valuations - which can be viewed with heavy opinion for various reasons)?

Debt reduction comes to my mind (both consumer and corporate) - if so, at what level does it become bullish? Debt reduction, would be bearish ST (as would be a higher savings rate...a temporary contraction of demand for goods and services etc.) but some tough needed medicine that could insure another secular bull wave, I would think. I think the more its reduced, and the quicker, will tell us how soon and how long (a secular bull) a fresh new bull is born.
