Amex Uplisting and Price Behavior

My experience with uplisting is the stock doesn't always shoot up right away and in some cases goes down a bit before it starts an upward trend. A vague answer, I know but just an observation.

I've had this happen with 3 other recent mining uplistings from OTC/Pink to Amex.

I hope I'm wrong but not too overly worried about it if it dips.
I'd like to get a couple more buys in before the next ride.

The miners haven't seemed to catch up with the price of
gold yet but they might soon.
