Question for all the knowledgeable longs out there:

WaMu is a high profile company. This is linked to Wall St. There are direct ties to JP Morgan, Lehman, etc. As such, utilizing an 'Occam's Razor' approach (The simplest explanation is typically correct), couldn't we simply deduce that:

1) There is always insider information / leaks in Wall St. news
2) This is a high profile case
3) The corresponding PPS is WAY to low if there was an immediate settlement in the future

The rationale:

This is a Gordon Gekko scenario - people in the know in Wall St could say 'As of Monday, your valuation of WAMUQ is going to explode 10x +. Get in NOW'. You'd see people all but killing each other for shares in the Lvl 2 way of blocks going through for MILLIONS of shares on the ask.

Someone correct me on my line of thinking?

(not bashing, just curious)

Thanks!
