brainlessone, You seem to think that we can go about the world doing as we please and no one should get angry. Do you remember the poor man in Ecuador that I told you about? Did you know that we used to do even worse to peasants in the Phillipines? What about our behaviour in East Timor? Guatemala? Iran? Congo? Vietnam? The list seems endless and I will not repeat it. We are currently ratcheting these type of policies to a stress level that which when it breaks will make 9/11 look like the precursor it was. I cannot understand why. The real solutions to the problems being addressed do not require this type of behaviour and would have far less cost. I have to guess that it boils down to Man is a violent animal and the one with the biggest stick just has to use it. How sad.
