When SGCP had only one dredge they were able to keep up with processing the concentrate. Now we have 5 dredges and the valuable concentrate is piling up.

Each dredge can accumulate about 200 pounds of concentrate per day. That is several tons a week total. Retreiving the fine gold from concentrate is very time consuming but can be done on site with simple panning or the two new wash plants. I expect those concentrates are being piled in a heap somewhere above the high wet season water level.

The gold SGCP is reporting now is the visible gold that the dredge operators can see and pick out by hand as it moves through the sluice.

It is very important that SGCP focusses on dredging during the short mining season. They can work the concentrate the rest of the year.

The chemical nature of gold is such that is does not bind with other elements. Nuggets, flakes, fine gold, and flour gold all sell for about spot. Just like a gold bar or a maple leaf.

I asked John to post a photo of whatever we are using to wash the concentrate. Once I see the equipment I can evaluate a time frame for how long it might take to process tens of thousands of pounds.
