Isn’t it better to logically and unemotionally consider the inferences and conclusions that the author draws from the info/facts and then decide if they’re valid or invalid? Then buy or sell accordingly.

Yes I agree totally! But you know it's a fact that panic selling goes on. Let's face it most Investors are not rational.Sometimes Investors just don't use their better judgement. Personally I don't pay attention to articles or pumping and usually judge a stock by historical movement only. Most Investors have a problem separating the stock from the company.
