I've never believed it very likely that niacin's efficacy, assuming there is any, is through HDL.
Are you saying that you do not accept reverse-lipid-transport as a valid MoA and property of HDL's? Or do you have another reason?
At this point I have over 10 years on Niaspan (and statins) which has given me a sense of security that may be false.
Should I get a check up or just have my body donated to science?
