How the SCIENTIFIC METHOD works ...

For the Empirical Sciences (eg, Biology, Chemistry, Climatology, Meteorology, Physics, etc), the SCIENTIFIC METHOD requires (1) that the Hypothesis be clearly stated and (2) that the Hypothesis be tested by means of a Designed Experiment, and (2) that the Hypothesis be accepted or rejected based exclusively on the empirical data from the Designed Experiments.

For instance, in 1915 Albert Einstein formally Hypothesize that a ray/beam light is bent by gravity. However, it wasn’t until 1919, that Einstein's Hypothesis was empirically tested by Astronomers. These Astronomers found that the path taken by star-light on its way to the Earth was indeed bent or curved, by the gravity our large planets. Based on this empirical data, Einstein's Hypothesis became SCIENTIFIC KNOWLEDGE.
