Not sure what happens to shares after liquidation..I'm assuming shares will remain with the shell until it is bought or taken over by another entity, at which point however the new entity could restructure shares however they wish i.e. r/s or whatever.

However, it appears many empty shells lie dormant for years. The cleaning up of the share structure may help here in that regard.

I believe the filings in regards the cancallation/deregistration of S-8 offerings is still viewable on the sec.gov site.
