No no no, no such thing as a dumb question when it comes to your money and your investments. I didn't know what it was not so long ago, either. I came thisclose to getting trapped in a non-DTC stock when I was making my first trade, but someone kindly explained to me what it was and how to find out the stocks that were on the list. Whatever we know now, we had to learn it at some point, right? No one should get knocked for asking a question.
