If Tariq Ali is correct and Iran already has already twisted our arm behind our back in Iraq in such a fashion that Iran is calling the shots as much as we are, I wonder if the Bushies are making a desperate attempt to in a very short time destabilize the whole region to justify escalating the war on terror. If so it would be a lot more of a crap shoot than Iraq. Do you have an opinion on this?
