eastcoast27, Investopedia is just saying that there is a high correlation between companies that are late in their SEC filings and companies that have accounting or financial problems. This is well known on Wall Street and it would serve ERFW well to get their habitual late reporting problem under control, whatever its cause.

Habitually making late SEC filings is not, in and of itself, serious (although, perhaps to the SEC it is). But it does show a pattern of neglect, incompetence, or disregard for fiduciary responsibility. Some (perhaps, most) ERFW shareholders may not see it this way, but the investment community at large does. It's a simple matter to fix and Dr. Cubley should fix it, even if that means stepping on some toes.
