The Consumer Product Safety Commission announced the following recalls Wednesday: --Around 1 million Wet System Video Head Cleaners from RadioShack Corp., because the cleaning solution bottle, labeled as containing isopropanol, actually contains methanol, which can be fatal or cause blindness if swallowed. Also, the bottle lacks cautionary labeling and child-resistant packaging, as federal law requires for methanol. No injuries or illnesses have been reported. RadioShack stores nationwide and the company's Web site sold the product from December 1995 to this past January. --About 80,000 silver-colored, heart-shaped pendants, sold and distributed by Dollar General Corp., because they contain high levels of lead, which can pose a risk of poisoning to children. The pendants were sold at Dollar General stores nationwide from May 2003 through this April. The pendants should be returned to the place of purchase.
