Nope, that's not the reason. The reason is that I, at least, don't buy into your theories. Nor do I take the view that everything that happens in our capital markets has to do with NSS.

If you want to learn how market making works, talk to some MMs. If you want to learn how clearing firms work, talk to people who work for them or have worked for them.
