i'm 23, and i'm in a crappy situation actually:

in the last few weeks i've made a ton of money playing the market.

but the only reason i've been able to make money is because my father died suddenly on march 18th. prior to his death, he was the custodian for a trading account in my name, as well as two others for my brothers, totaling about $30k.

i've been really into the stock market for the last 4 years, and i've learned A LOT - - especially the hardest lessons that one can learn (penny stock scams, anyone?).

fortunately for me, i've been able to learn these lessons and rules while i'm young and can afford it.

but prior to my dad dying, i was only able to play with what little i had....around 2k. when you only have that much to work with, flipping stocks is NOT easy.

the past month i've been controlling my brothers' accounts as well as mine, and i've been doing so well. i keep thinking, "man, my dad would be so proud" - - but then i also realize that had he not died, i wouldn't be in this situation; i wouldn't be making this money. how messed up is that?

thus far i'm up about 12k total. flipped BCC* last week for 3k - - in at .08, out at .14. really wishing i had held on to that one.

waiting for the payday with FBC* and of course, PSPW.
