They don't even have the means/money to make any significant progress with their current properties. They have to pay for everything with shares. So why would they go seeking new properties that they can't afford to do anything with?

A) They have decided their current properties have no potential to be profitable

B) This has turned into a share selling company and nothing more and this latest PR is a pretty big warning sign that somebody is looking to sell some shares (maybe those 100,000,000 shares that entered the float recently?) - I mean look at the PR and read carefully.

Completion of the acquisition is subject to the execution of definitive agreements, due diligence review and approval of the Board of Directors of Dutch Gold

Why start promoting something that could be months away and may never end up happening?

To sell shares.
