Recently eBay changed its policies that are radically pro-buyer. In eBay's 10k they predicted that these changes could increase buyer fraud, and the outrage of sellers. This has indeed happened. I was a seller since the 1990s and had an ebay rating of 1584, with one negative feedback (which paypal TOOK the money back out of my account without eBay asking for my proof of sending a $600 item which was offered) in the past 12 months (completely refunded, with loss of item), and then eBay terminated me as a seller for life! One negative in twelve months with full refund and loss of item! Thousands of sellers are indeed outraged (look all over the Internet) and seeking new auction site alternatives. This is really a mess for them. And, their customer service is virtually non-existent. Endless hours on the phone, being hung up on, talking to people in the Philapeanes who just read from a screen and offer no resolutions. Ebay used to be great. They are now unusable. Search the Internet to see the outrage of Sellers (relative to both Ebay and Paypal); this is rampant. Serious market share is being lost to other auction sites.
