You're saying Obama engineered the seizure of WAMU while he was still just a candidate for president?

In case you were born in the last couple of years: the seizure of WAMU (and the economic meltdown) occurred during the G.W. Bush administration. Obama was not president when the government doled out billions of taxpayer dollars to the banks via TARP and the bailouts. (He might have done the same thing, but it was someone else in charge then.)
