*QQQQ daily - Testing out triggers today, they seem to work... Called short at $35.90 on triggger, went as low as 35.88 I believe... but the stop was at 50 day SMA/35.95... broke it, so cover short, go long at that level, and now sell at 36.05... come out a nickel on top trying to daytrade...
Just trying different trading methodologies and talking to myself here... for anyone willing to listen, that's all...
The shorts got triggered at 3:05 PM, (which was a nickel loss), the longs got triggered at 3:35 PM (which was a 10 cent gain)... total nickel gain... minimal needed to daytrade is $25,000 and margin so $50,000... sometimes even 4X margin for daytrading, we'll use $50,000 as a proxy, a nickel gain on 1,390 shares is $69.50, take out about 28 dollars for 4 trades, and you just made $41.50/hour... where else can you do this sitting in front of a computer (and using triggers)?
