I don't see that Sandoz makes more money by inducing a price war. if they induce an AG, it is more complicated, Dew analyzed the profit share/royalty issue in this post.

It hardly seems that Sandoz would maximize their profit by in effect getting to pay a reduce royalty to Momenta at the expense of losing sales to the AG. To the extent that Sandoz outsells the AG, they continue to pay the profit share.
