Betrixaban (humorous) addendum: On MRK’s 1Q11 CC, CEO Ken Frazier cited MRK’s dropping Betrixaban as a notable corporate decision during the quarter. The only problem was: Frazier called MRK’s ex-partner, Portolo instead of Portola, making it pretty obvious that he did not know the background and was just reading from a prepared script.
