The Good, Bad & Ugly...all w/in 'one' company...

The UGLY...Granted, they seem to rub elbows w/ some suspicious characters & they handle their stock mngmt like complete friggin' idiots. There is even the fact that the sharecount 'already' doubled beyond what that guys DD was showing...now 1.5B O/S as of Jan. 11. I'd further agree that the [now] top-heavy share structure could likely make a future sizable R/S [+/- 100:1 ?] almost inevitable...that is , if they are interested in eventually uplisting to a bigboard exchange , as is the usual desired goal. A 'share buy-back' is probably too much to hope for. It has been suggested that the SS increase could relate to VRAL mngmt trying to pre-position themselves to ward-off any hostile take-overs. There may be some merit to that thinking but I suspect here again , VRAL's biz mngr is leading them astray....they could have taken care of that by raising the SS a whole lot less.

The BAD...Beyond that, VRAL has some irritating but relatively minor debt issues outstanding. It looks to me like the guy's doing this DD have misconstrued some of their findings like: tying VRAL's credibility & ethics to the un-associated fraudulent activities of a PR firm they hired from 4 years ago.

More BAD....I also think these guys doing this DD are mis-interpreting some other legal issues...particularly VRAL's settlement related to that upcoming Nov. payment. If they had checked further into the history on that issue , they would have seen that these claimants were former parasitic insiders , unjustifiably claiming a big piece of the pie to get a free-ride in life. To save time & money in dragging-out litigation (even though I'm pretty sure VRAL was in the 'right') , they chose to settle just to be rid of these low-lifes.

The GOOD...The previous factors are polar opposites when compared to the core elements in this company. 1...The 'successful' pretrials of their AIDS therapeutics in a number of countries. 2...The (unquestionable) caliber & support of their Nobel-prize winning BOD. 3...Patents acquired. 4...The backing & funding by two universities. 5...The Bio-diesel bonus package & their association w/ the big-name AE company's testing their algae tech as we speak. 6...The backing of their AE spin-off by some of the top names in business.

How can all these completely diverse profiles all be within one company ? The only thing that makes sense to me is that it can probably be blaimed on an inept business manager & a BOD that is too pre-occupied with other things to notice that their biz mngr is leading them astray. The BOD are 'Doctor's'...not business people. Pre-supposing this may be the case , that doesn't make their current share structure look any better but it would (in my mind anyway) help support the basic positive well-meaning ethics that I believe the primary participants have here.
Cutting right to the core here...VRAL appears to be on the verge of some real breakthru (& highly profitable) tech here...on more than one front. If they are successful in 'any one' of these endeavors , their future is paved with gold. The realization that the SS has become a real issue caused me to reduce my exposure by 1/3 recently but.....I still think there is a 'great deal' of $$$ still to be made here. Not nearly as much as there could have been if they managed the SS as they should have but , a 'great deal' just the same. I'm now looking to sell 1/2 as a trade at the optimal time & let the rest (freeshares) ride. I know a R/S is likely to come along but if this puppy comes into its own , this could still be a winner...even as a buy-out target by one of the big-player energy companies.

That's my .03's worth anyway...might be FOS but....we'll see.
