It is not helping the stock that much anyhow. Buying your own stock at 36 times earnings, even when growing at 20% year (and when the market is getting a little saturated) is a folly. SBUX broke major support a while back in the $48.5/$50 area, and dumped hard from there, I expect a repeat and new lows on it.
