WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) -- Donald Trump said Wednesday that he's "honored" to have played what he called a big role in getting President Barack Obama to release his long-form birth certificate. Trump spoke after the White House released the certificate, showing the president was born in Hawaii in 1961. Trump and others had questioned Obama's birthplace and eligibility for the U.S. presidency. "I am really honored, frankly, to have played such a big role in hopefully, hopefully, getting rid of this issue," Trump told reporters in New Hampshire on Wednesday, according to ABC News.
