Sharing Knowledge in Smallcaps

Tough dealing with friends regarding the stock market. In the past I was free to share what I owned/traded, including my STRICT stop loss targets. Naturally, no one listens to the "out" target, all they hear is the symbol, and they run with it.

If/when it tanks, I've already unloaded, but since they didn't listen they held on. I don't share symbols with friends any longer.

Same deal with tax advice. Everyone thinks they are an expert. I never share symbols and/or tax advice with friends/family. Learned that the hard way.

I love the way you handled the issue with your Army friend, you referred him to books/websites. Gets you off the hook.
