What's the incentive for these MNTA and TEVA not to settle? It would remove so much of the uncertainty around their stock prices and produce much higher profits for both firms then if they don't settle.

MNTA has no reason to settle if it knows tL has no chance of obtaining approval and it believes it has a strong possibility of obtaining FDA approval of mC in the relatively near future.

As Teva's share price continues to fall it has more and more incentive to try and settle while MNTA, with its increasing share price, can sit back and wait for a settlement offer to its liking.

How the tides have turned.
