Sure. White Space is potentially available in the future. Although it stinks of another MS-faux-standard-failure like HD-DVD.
In any case,
1) it's still up in the air due to legal appeals and other issues (no pun intended)
2) there is no equipment that you or I or anyone else you know (let along the masses of Boise) can use to connect to it.
You can't do it with an iPhone of any flavor, a Droid of any flavor, a Winphone (well… nevermind), a consumer computer/laptop/tablet of any flavor. So again, what is this pilot purporting to accomplish?
Again, I'd love to be able to have a decent connection in the Boise airport. But that wouldn't take 100-anything. That would just take a few Linksys or Airport routers well-spaced, hooked to a decent PoP.
