One concern for me (long term) is a statement from page 14 of the 10-K:

"TelVue has been able to partially offset the decline in new system sales in the PEG and education markets by focusing sales resources on addon sales to existing customers including its TelVue Care maintenance and support service. Sales of TelVue Care service increased 36% for the twelve months ended December 31, 2010 when compared to the same period of 2009."

The TelVue Care service is basically the extended warranty we are offered, and typically refuse, at places like Best Buy and Walmart. Pushing this service tells the very frugal PEG market you are not willing to stand behind your product and you are gouging for extra income. This may bring in extra income at a time it is desperately needed but will do long term damage to Telvue’s reputation. This does not make me a confident stockholder…
